With the exception of the 2007 model which actually is a Silverado, that term describes a trim package, so you are really asking about a Chevrolet 2500.
Have done both a heavy duty Ford and now a Chevrolet 3500 HD, I will keep the Chevrolet, thank you. Dodge seems to have a lot of transmission issues.

I personaly would go with the Chevy. The Dodge would also be a good choice. I had a Ford and will never own another. But that's just my opinion. The choice is up to you. The other factors would be insurance and fuel mileage.

FORD. I find it hard to believe there are people out there who actually think there are better trucks than Ford. Dodge doesn't know how to build, period. gm trucks are built on very flimsy chassis, hence their lower curb weight. When you tow or haul in a Ford, no problem. In a gm truck, you really feel like the truck is twisting and flexing..............because it is!

i would personally get a dodge 2500 with the cummins turbo diesel. The best diesel on the market. You can't go wrong with it.
