A hugely rich soothing dish of thick linguini made in about this way:

Abundant linguini boiled in the usual way and "al dente",

and so a rich sauce consisting of no tomato but of two spoonfuls extra virgin olive oil, fresh flavory pure butter from dandelion eating cows (those with a flower in their mouth), a squeeze of fresh red garlic, a tiny bit of freshly scenting lemon squeeze, a drop of rich milk-cream, moderate salt, a rich fresh-milled multi-mix flavory pepper sprinkling, a little bit of freshly grated real parmesan from Parma.

Having gone so far, we may add that the dessert I would want for the occasion should be a rich "tiramisù" which I am sure would trigger a lot of pleasant reveries and make us forget the gallows.

I think I'd be too scared to eat. Probably sweet and sour pork. Or confit duck. This site lists all last meals of death row inmates before their executions. Kind of creepy to read but some of them packed the food away!
