I'm a Cowboys fan and I have to admit that Brett Favre is one of the best QB's ever to play the game, they managed to get a 8-8 record with a young team, so I believe that if they do things well in FA and in the draft, they will be contenders and win 10-11 games next season. I would like to see Brett retire a champion like John Elway a few years ago.

I actually am leaning 70/30 on him coming back. Yeah I know he had an emotional game at the end of the bears game, but that is because he was worried he wasn't coming back one more year. He actually had surgery on his ankle the next day after the bears game. Meaning he wanted to see if it 1) went well and 2) would recover quickly. He WANTS to come back, seeing as how he didn't retire yet, I would presume the surgery went good. Now he has to decide if one more year is worth missing out on his family. My opinion...one more year....my other opinion Peyton is not going to break all those records.....Marvin Harrison is 34 and in a Super Bowl...how many years do you think he has left.

The issue with Aaron Rodgers, he has shown poise, but he got injured for the season filling in for a half a game. Durability issues now arise for the "quarterback of the future" I think the only for sure way to redevelop the rest of the team, is if Brett Favre does come back.

He shouldn't...but he probably is to break all the QB stats that will later be broken by Peyton Manning, by staying Brett is hendering the deveoplment of the Packer's first round pick a few years back...Aaron Rodgers

There is an article on espn.com regarding Brett Favre and how his return depends on his family.

If I were to put a percentage on this answer, I'd say he's 80-20 on retiring. I agree it is a family decision and the Packers need to be ready for anything.

I doubt it. He hasn't officially announced his retirement, but he sure was acting like the game against the Bears was his last.

I think he may give it another go but he has not said if he will or not.

He can still start in that league.
