In the premiership there are 12 players wearing the number 25:
Jose Reina for liverpool
Emmanuel Adebayor for Arsenal
Abdoulaye Faye for Bolton
Benjani Mwaruwari for Portsmouth
Aaron Lennon for Tottenham
James Morrison for Middlesbrough
Robert Olejnik for Aston Villa
Simon Davies for Fulham
Alan Wright for Sheffield United
David Unsworth for Wigan Athletic
Bobby Zamora for West Ham United
Gonzalo Sorondo for Charlton
Id say Lennon and Adebayor are the two most famous, but Reina, Morrison, Davies, Unsworth, Faye and Zamora are also pretty famous too.
Outside of the premiership in the world famous teams there arnt really any famous players wearing the number 25 shirt, International squads only go up to 23 in tournaments and in other competitions its 1 to 11 for the starting lineup with the subs following on from there. The only player id heard of was Mariano Barbosa for Villareal, but he's a goalkeeper so not quite the same.

Agreed about Zola.
Kanu wore 25 when he was at Arsenal, and made himself a bit of a legend (in my opinion of course). He wears 27 at Pompey because Benjani didn't want to give up his 25 shirt.
