I love the name, but I think for a boy I would spell it Bailey--seems more masculine.

If you want to call your baby baileigh then I would suggest that you spell it bailey, as its looks more masculine that way.

NO! "Leigh" is a girls name. I recommend BAILEY for a boy... save Baileigh for a girl.

I like it as a family name like Jones or McDowell, but as a first name it seems like the child will either grow up to be very posh and snobbish or flamboyantly camp.

LOL!!!

What are you trying to do, ostracize the kid before he's even born? Beetle Bailey!!! Was "Bruce" too masculine for you to choose? Give the kid a break - that name condemns him to ridicule throughout his entire childhood and adolesence.

no. The spelling IS wrong "leigh" is the female version of "lee"
Personally I think whatever way you spell it Bailey is a bit too chav, all the more so if you spell it wrong or try to fancify the spelling.
