I am not at all impressed with the Sky packages but want to be able to get a selection of world TV channels, even if I do not alwayse understand the languages. Can anyone point me in directions other than Sky?

I want to enjoy satelite TV and live in the UK?

I do not live in a cabled area and alrady have freeview.

Like has been pronounced previously you will get all channels with a satelite, by way of sky you additionally can watch your community bbc information programmes, and ITV areas shall we in Southern Spain

I have NTL cable and it is very good and cheaper than sky - they also do OnDemand where you can catch up on programmes that you have missed.

sky is the best option.
or Internet tv.

There is only cable if it is available in your area.

freeview or telewest. we have both in our house. my mum is so good to us!
