I have the same problem. The best thing you do is go to a dermatologist. But if you dont want to do that just look at the incredients on the package and if has any oil in DONT USE IT. thats how they keep the acne from not going away. After years of having the same problem i went to a dermatologist. and he gave me a prescription for me. but it does get a little harsh. so i get the st. ives apricot cleanser. then i wash it off with a clearasil cleanser wipe. i do this first because it gentle and it doesnt make the actual prescription work so hard which makes it less harsh. a mosturizer you can use for ur face is alveeno face mosturizer but make sure its the one without the oil in it. Good luck i hope i helped u!!

I have combination skin, but it is primarily oily, and I really like the oil of olay line. I use the regenerist moisturizer. (I think that is what is called). It costs about $20.00, and it is a small pink bottle, shaped like a cylinder. But it works great for oily and sensitive skin. I also really like the olay and toner in one face wash. It works great but doesn't seem to be really harsh or drying. Another thing that has worked well for me is using oil sheets. They soak up the oil on your skin and you don't have to apply more makeup. I think clean and clear makes those and you can find them in health and beauty at wal-mart. Hope it helps.

Shiseido has a good line, their pureness products. use the deep cleansing foam, balancing softner, and the matifying moisturizer. also consider the pore minimizer cooling essence, and oil blotting paper to help control the greasyness.

I use this stuff called Clean and Clear Shine Control Moisturizer. U can wear it under make up and it makes ur make up stay on. U should try it! It works for me. Its about 5 bucks at Wal-Mart.

tea tree oil face wash works great. can be found at the body shop. they also have the blotting papers can use anytime of day to get the oil off face but not removing make up. if u get exema be good to get products from the body shop or any other natural ingredients store.

Diet can play a part, cut out chips and greasy foods to avoid break-outs.

You can buy sheets of rice paper at cosmetic stores that you can use to dab the oil off your face during the day.

i have shiny skin too - but i've found that vitamin e oil from holland and barret - on your face after washing works great - it doesn't get your skin oily (i know weird thinking your putting on oil - but trust me it works).

also vit e is good for skin disorders and helps clear the skin off blemishes....
