I got a Medela mini-electric hand-me-down ;P some of the parts look quite worn so I'm considering replacing the parts. Does anyone have any idea where to get the following and how much do they cost?

- Medela Standard Breastshield with one yellow valve and one white membrane
- Standard Breastshield Reducing Insert by Medela
- 24-piece Medela Breastmilk Storage and Feeding Set
- Medela Quick Clean Micro-Steam Bags
- 50-pack Medela Pump and Save Collection Storage Freezer Bags

Thanks!

Target caries all that stuff last time I checked.

Also Babycenter.com

I was just on that web site today and they sell all kinds of stuff for the medela's

Just a note...The Lanisoh Bags are the thickest on the market. Best ones out there.

I don't think it warrants getting offended over. It has been scientifically proven to be fact that breast milk IS the best first food for baby. There are hundreds of studies proving the benefits of giving your child breastmilk instead of formula. It's not like they are saying that formula feeders are evil. They are simply stating the fact that breast milk IS best, because it is. No one can make you feel guilty unless you allow them to. It sounds like you may have some mommy guilt over not breastfeeding. That's really common - whether you chose to formula feed or you honestly could not breastfeed for whatever reason. That, however is you problem and not Medela's. Baby food company's do the same thing. Especially the ones with an organic line. Do you get upset with them if you make your baby regular (not organic) baby food or make it yourself at home? Even diaper companies talk about how the best mommies want to make their baby most comfortable by using their particular brand of diaper (usually Pampers or Huggies). I often use Luvs or sometimes even a store brand if I can't afford the pricier ones. I don't feel guilty about it. It is what it is. But honestly, you sound like you may have a little bit of a chip on your shoulder about not breastfeeding. You need to get over it and not take it out on a company, like Medela, that is simply telling the truth.

I found some online when I was pregnant. Just do a search for "Medela breast pump" or something like that. Medela might have its own website, too. I would think it would. I don't recall where online I found them. The hospital I purchased mine from also had spare parts. Sorry, I don't recall prices. Ask the person who gave it to you where they got it and see if you can contact the place where it was purchased.

Not sure of the price, but Target sells the parts. I also have a Medela pump and noticed the parts when looking for pumps.

are you on WIC? My WIC office offered me new parts for my used pump for free...

Otherwise I would try ebay...or steralize (boil) the stuff you have and see if that'll work...
