480 is the least common multiple
120*4=480
160*3=480

there is no number smaller than 480 that is both a multiple of 120 and 160

therefore the least common multiple is 480

160 / 120 = 1 + reminder
160 = 120 * 1 + 40

120 / 40 = 3
120 = 40 * 3 + 0

Greatest common divider GCD(160,120) = 40

LCM(a,b) = ab/GCD(ab) = 120 * 160 / 40 = 480
