It's totally normal to crawl between 6 months and 14 months. My first child walked at 9 months (YIKES) and my second child didn't crawl until 10 months and didn't walk until almost 15 months. Don't worry.
A great exercise to help your child gain the strenght to walk/stand is to give them tummy time. Put him on his tummy with toys nearby for him to reach for. This helps strengthen the muscles in his back which are necessary to walking.
Don't worry. He's normal and I'll bet he's cute as a button!

Some babies never crawl they just start walking. When my daughter was a baby, she did not crawl, she was walking at 8 1/2 months. They also say that boys are slower tlearners than girls.

Not all babies crawl, some skip a step. As long as he is developing normally in all other ways I wouldn't worry. My son is 8 months and since we don't have carpet he slids when he trys to crawl so his solution is rolling everywhere he wants to go. It's normal, don't worry!

My son took a long time to crawl. He could stand, and got around just fine doing something that resembled "the worm". I wouldn't worry. It doesn't mean that he is behind, every baby is different. If you are still concerned, by all means talk to your docter, but he/she will probably say the same thing. Hope I helped!

Plenty of babies miss the crawling stage and go straight to walking.
All I can say is remove everything that is dangerous as i all goes in the mouth.
All the best

He sounds right on track to me. My little girl started walking at 9 months and everyone said it was early. She only crawled for about a week. If he is standing, its not far away from running off!!

Your baby is fine. Your son may just skip crawling and that is very normal for some babys.

A friend of mine has a daughter who went straight to walking and never crawled. My son crawled forever and I thought he would never walk. It's totally normal; don't worry.

One of my sons never crawled. He rolled around to where he wanted to go...stood up...and then walked.
It does not mean that he is behind. He might not ever crawl.

My daughter is the same age and the same way. They told me it will come. No he isnt slow or anything like that he just wants to get ahead of himself and he will either start walking early or crawling later. Its ok i have the same problem.
