Aussie soaps suck (and I am an Aussie living in Oz)....can't stand Home and Away, Neighbours....hmmm that's all the soaps we have really...can't stand it when ppl talk about those shows. They are such crap and it sh*ts me that the teenagers are all so confident and get jobs that no real teenager would get. They seem to have more power than the adults do. I know it's not real life and it's escapism but give me good story lines and scripts any day.
Don't know much about the UK soaps. Used to watch Eastenders years ago, before they stopped showing it in Oz. When I was last in the UK though, it didn't seem the same.

Aussie definitely. Enders too miserable and Coronation Street boring same old stories.

UK definitely....can't stand the boring, yawning, snoring, brain cell murdering, pooey, rubbishy stupid Aussie soaps like Neighbours etc. No offence to Aussies, it just YUK they're .....Arrghhh!!!
Now, Coronation Street...brilliant!

Emmerdale is the only soap I watch on a regular basis, so I'm gonna say UK soaps.

At the moment it is still Emmerdale. Aaron is spiralling into a pit of despair & although it is not fun to watch, it is intriguing to see how low he will sink before he has the sense to seek help. If he ever has the sense to seek help.
