Do you believe in what you hear or do you believe that god loves each and everyone of his children no matter how bad we are or sinful, or even if we turned our back on him!

I think an asexual being telling us how to live out our sexuality is a tad funny...

I'm not vain enough to claim I know what God thinks. That being said, the Bible is pretty explicit in condemning homosexuality. It's called an "abomination". Pretty strong stuff, since the prohibition comes at the end of a long list of prohibitions on perverse activities: mother and son, father and daughter, brother and sister, etc, none of which were called abominations, even though they were forbidden. The rabbis tell us it's because those cases were natural acts, even though they involved forbidden mates, but with homosexuality, the act itself is unnatural, so there are no permitted mates. Of course most of us Jews were never renowned for listening to rabbis. They'd probably claim that's why we've gotten into so much trouble over the millennia, but there's a long tradition of freethinkers among us, and I happen to be one of them. In ancient times, reproduction (be fruitful and multiply) was an important thing. Now, with overpopulation being one of the world's biggest problems, I'm not sure the same rule applies. Although I personally cannot fathom what a man would see in another man, I prefer to consider homosexuality as just an extreme form of birth control.

I think that God loves all of his children. I'm homosexual and yes I do believe in God... but not necessarily the one portrayed in the BIBLE. And all you people saying that all we have to do is change and then ask for forgiveness, or that being homosexual is a sin... HA! You obviously are not a homosexual, otherwise you would know that MOST homosexuals do not CHOOSE to be homosexual. Why the hell would we voluntarily choose to be something that is hated so much by some people!!? Honestly... if I truly did have the choice then I would choose to be heterosexual... NOT because I am ashamed, but because I would rather not deal with all this bull that you people make us go through. But since I AM homosexual... I am not going to change or ask for forgiveness. Forgiveness for what? For being ME? I don't think so. I know God truly loves me... 'cause I know I was born this way. And if I was not bron this way... then he somehow made me this way after birth. 'Cause like I said... I never woke up one day and said..."Hmmm... I think I'm going to be homosexual from now on."

I believe the bible to be the truth and it clearly states that homosexuality is a sin. It also says that God loves everyone.....but he gave us all our own will. If we follow God then we will want to follow His will and He hates sin....also in His word. Read 1 Corinthians 6:9

i think homosexuality is a symptom of a heart that is blackened by sin and cannot see God or accept truth.. it is the culmination of perversion of every right way that God intended ... God doesnt hate the child but someone who is that far cut off from the right path is near to being lost ....

Every thing is the way it is apposed to be and every one has there different personality traits and i think god gives our personality to us and if someone is gay god wanted them to be. No being gay is not a mix up in you genetics or a sin it is just normal like every one else.

God loves all of his creation. The bible just seem to indicate that God opposes certain lifestyles, not just same-gender.

God does indeed love each and every one of his children.

God does not discriminate, that's something reserved for people - notably Christian people.

I believe that Jesus, who is God, died for my sins. I also believe that Jesus, who is God, hates homosexuality and would work it out of my life if I were a homosexual (I'm not)
