Does anyone know what the land was like for the indians when they were forced into the indian territory by Andrew Jackson? I need to draw a picture of what it was like and i cant find anything about it in my history book! Any Help?

Well, most of the land that was given to Native Americans for a reservation was usually desolate, in that it was not very abundant in soil, for crops or trees. It was usually really hard for them to live off the land, like they did before in they native homeland. So, basically, no trees, little water, land that A. Jackson thought was little use to him.

Just draw a picture of Oklahoma because that's where they all got sent. Oklahoma was originally established as a homeland for all the displaced Indian tribes and the whole thing was Indian territory. It probably would have worked too, if the white man hadn't discovered oil there. That queered the deal PDQ!

I would suggest drawing a group of Indians being shoved somewhere, like a huge hand labeled "U.S Government" and the Indians are sad, and some are VERY angry.
For some ideas, search Yahoo for Native Americans or Trail of Tears

Look up a picture of "Trail of Tears" It was a huge line of Indians be forced out of their land and into the reservations.
