Help him to budget - work out what he has coming in and what needs to be paid out and then tell him he can only spend what is left. If it is really bad and the outgoing is more than the incoming then he needs to contact a debt management company. Just make sure he has sorted himself out before having a baby as they are not cheap.

get him to go to the citizens advise bureau and they will sort out the best plan for reducin the debt and they will talk him though the whole process and even write the letters if he needs help. most of all rember it is only money. love will get u through

You could do with sitting down together and totalling up exactly what he owes and to whom.

You the need to think of a way to try and pay it, debt consolodation maybe? taking a second job (him not you).

Try not to panic, but i wouldn't commit to him any further until this is under control
