There's this boy, that I've always been friends with. We've had our ups and downs, but he's always glad to see me, and always begs to sit with me, and passes notes with me.
But, today on MSN, we had a row, and I said
"do you actually dislike me?"
He said
"y would i like u? ive only known u 5 months"
That doesnt make any sense! I mean, he has other "friends", why does he need over 5 months, just to like me? Did he think I meant as more as just a friend? I'm so confused. Please help!

hi, you don't say how old you are, but from your question i would say you are not that old, boys can be very silly at times and they take longer to grow up than girls they often say the first thing that comes into their head without thinking it through, so to be honest i wouldn't worry too much about it, of course in 5 months he would know how he felt about you whether it be just as a friend or not, i think he is just having a silly moment and tomorrow it will all be forgotton on his part, so don't worry, if he continues to upset you then just distance yourself from him, don't sit with him and don't contact him on msn then see how fast he will come running, tell him you only meant as a friend and see what he says maybe he took it the wrong way, boys dont think the same as girls beleive me. i wish you all the luck in the world for the future and i hope i have been of some help to you.

Well now Live4Musi... What shall you do. When you find out, do tell, because I should like to know my self. sounds very interesting to me. Nothing makes sense in this life until you find out what its all about and your in the right place to do that. yahoo answers. i think you're throwing this a little out of proportion.. it's just a guy, you're just chatting online, it's not the end of the world if he says something like that, i take it you're in your teens/younger?
back off a bit, act like it doesnt' worry you at all.....next week you'll probably have something else completely unrelated to worry about!!

texting and msn can be taken the wrong way,if it was a face to face conversation you would be able to read his reactions,leave it a day or two then have another 'chat' and see how he is then.

He needs to grow up- you can tell because he doesn't like people to disagree with him. If he was a man he would be used to it..lol Especially from women. Forget it!!
