Why do you think Kobe has so many haters?
Why wont people just give Kobe the respect he deserves?

This goes back to one thing. The hardware. Think of who's got the rings, then think did they get better treatment throughout the league. Jordan, Bird, Magic, Isaiah, and include Kobe in there...they all get the benefit of the doubt.
Kobe has haters? No! Really? It's because he ran Shaq out of L.A. Made Phil retire for a season. He thought he was better without those guys. He dumped his team last year in the playoffs by not taking game seven agaist the Suns over. (He just took 3 shots in the second half) But he's been humbled though, he's not been back to the Finals since Shaq called LA home and he just barely realized that he needs to take less shots and pass more THIS SEASON. Luckily Phil came back and now LA's future is on the rise again.
Kobe deserves respect. To a point. He's definatly the best scorer in the league. Right now you'll be hard pressed to find a player in the league with a better looking resume.
Still, I don't like him.

Haven't you ever thought that people do respect Kobe Bryant? Its just people you see that might not. Referees always call fair as possible, its their job. They get paid to call the best game possible, and i guarantee you they couldn't give a s*** who they called it on. So do not blame it on the referees, blame it on the "haters". And if your wondering, "haters" probably hate Kobe because they do not like the Lakers, or do not like that he gets most of the attention. No doubt Kobe is a phoeniminal player, but he could care less what people think of him if he gets his money.

I've seen so much Kobe haters questions today, if you don't ask I would have.
They don't call fouls, Kobe should shoot about 100 free throws a game if they call every foul!
Kobe deserves the respect.
He's the best player, so maybe he's not the best human being, but he is not a bad one either!
So he cheated on his wife once, big deal, that was not rape.
No one's been fair to Kobe.
But you know what they say: The more the hater, the better they are in basketball.

Ditto Shadow, when shaq left, BAM right back in the dumpster where that jabroni belonged like Penny Hardaway.
Naw KB is the real deal you cant score 81 and not be ok. People just hate kobe because they were jordan fans and kobe is the Air apperant. They dont like that.

Ok you aren't going to agree with this but these are the STATISTICS of why i dislike Kobe
His stats and other well respected athletes
1. Cant win a championship w/o Shaq....Jordan with just Pippen
2. Raped a young woman.... yeah uh many well respected athletes haven't
3. 2.87 career TO per game...in 2005 Nash's ***/TO ratio was 2.98 to 1, haha now that is hilarious
4. Doesn't improve his teammates...just ask Shaq
5. Constantly wants attention....negative media attention for Kobe is way higher than for instance Tim Duncan
6. Stupidly hit Manu (and yes it was intentional, you dont just go around swinging your hands).....Arenas has never hit anyone
7. Averages 18.5 shots per game and 45% FG%.....yeah Nash shoots 53% this year and only shoots when he needs to
8. His ego...umm Marvin Harrison of the Colts just lets his game do the talking, he rarely speaks to the media
Well now that this is all said and done. Those are the facts and what does Kobe bring to the game besides a lot of scoring.....heart, hustle, team unity

He gets most of the calls his way even when he isnt touched or touched enough for a foul. I wouldnt be surprised if defenders were given a foul for even trying to defend him.
