She's definately on drugs if she thinks she'll win with that one! She's just angry. Don't stress. Keep thinking about her baby, that's the important one here!

It really depends....What u did is called defamation of character. The term defamation of character is often used to describe accusations of slander, libel or both. Slander involves verbal derogatory statements, while libel involves written ones. In a court of law, the plaintiff pursuing the lawsuit would charge defamation of character to cover any form of false or damaging allegations...If u said this and that about her situation to others and it caused harm to her in any way, such as losing a job, losing a loved one, being evicted or people coming up to her hounding her from the accusations then yes she can sue u and will prob win if she has proof. Most likely she prob already cut and pasted or printed out what u said about her which would have proof of what happened...If it causes no damage to her in any way shape or form then she prob wont win..but nowdays people sue for the smallest things and actually win...Good Luck!

Ask around in the law area, but I doubt if she could. Hopefully you didn't use names, and I don't really think it would matter anyways. Do you know how many people are on this site each and every minute? Second? Who's going to figure out it's a certain person? What's the likely hood of that?

I doubt it. She can be angry all she wants, but you have a right to ask a question.

You can sue anyone for anything, if you want. Of course, the first rule of law is only sue people with money.

Well, after going at looking at the question you asked about her the answer is no. You only stated that you thought she was on drugs and that her bf is in jail. That he's in jail is a fact, that you think she's on drugs doesn't state that she is--something that could have potentially been a lie. Plus, you gave no identifying information about her.

No, I dont think its possible for her to sue you for asking a question about her situation. As long as you did'nt use her name, I think you will be ok.

I don't care, she can sue if she wants. The real question is if she does sue would she win.

No, Not unless you used her name. You can sue for Defamation of character if you did use her name. I didn't see the ? though so I can't answer this as matter of fact.

She can threaten all she likes. For it to be slander it has to be communicated with her name or other details which would make it specific to her. Also it has to be false...
She doesn't have a chance, she's just trying to intimidate you.
Tell her I'm going to sue her if she doesn't leave my friend alone!

No, you didn't use her name. She can't sue you for asking a question on a public forum. Any lawyer would laugh at her.
