Have you ever been betrayed by a friend? I was betrayed a long time ago by my so called best friend of 20 years when I started to hear some very personal business of mine repeated back to me by a guy I was seeing who just so happened to know my best friends cousin that I didn't like & he said that the cousin told it to him. I took a break from her but later rekindled the frienship as if nothing had happened. Ironically, I started to date her husbands cousin & one night when we were I drunk I repeated somethings to him that she had told me about him...oops, believe me I didn't do it on purpose. However, it got back to her and now we haven't spoken in about a year.
I started dating a friend of mines friend over the summer & he offered him up some personal info about me, now me & my friend don't speak anymore, but I'm still dating the guy. How do you handle friendship betrayal & can you move on afterwards?

It sucks, I had a good friend for 14 years. She was always a selfish friend, didnt want new faces hanging out with us and it was always about competition. Who gets more numbers, who is cuter, who is dressed cute, etc. We went to Miami for my 30th, she was a total hater, your wearing that, oh kinda thing and hes cute then when he was interested in me it was like oh his shoes are ugly, he aint that cute etc. It got to the point that she even ironed a blouse for me and burned it "by accident" I was so upset by the last day that I told her off and we rarely talk or hang out anymore. We are cool when we run into eachother. Its been 18 months. We dont need friends like that. Move on. Unfortunately she wasnt a true friend a true friend wouldnt do this to you. Sorry

I'm not that great at it. Someimtes i used to cry over the small thingds my friends do because i think back to when they made fun off me or something. But basically i usually don't try to piss them off because im not that great of a fighter. So basically the only people i can really trust is one really great friend from 3rd grade and the girls at our school

When a friend betrays me I just walk away from that friendship because, a true friend will not tell your business. True friends don't to that to each other.

we were really good friends and then she started hanging out w/ this other girl...soon she left our table and strated hanging out w/ her mo. Then she strats lying to me and says ur acting crazy i havn't left u. I said she's changed and not 4 the best. Then me and her so-called friend became enemies
This year they don't talk anymore...serves them right.

Move on and stop telling people things that you dont want repeated. That way you dont have to worry about it being repeated.

From what I've seen both of you guys have big mouths. Unless you are both willing to shut your mouths and apologize then I suggest you go your seperate ways.
