1. A girl is addressed as Kumari before she gets married.
2. After her marriage she is addressed as Srimathi
From the above one can understand whether the lady is married or not.
3. Amma means mother. When ever one address an elderly woman they add word Amma to the name or relationship to express their obedience.
4.After marriage when the lady bears children and becomes mother Name of Goddess Laxmi is added to her title to convey her prosperity.
5. A widow is addressed as Ganaga Bhagirathi in the name of the sacred river.
These are all coined for proper identification and to pay ones respects according to their position.

i think in Indian tradition a lady is considered to be holy right from ancient times, but now now situations had changed..birth of a girl child is celebrated as birth of goddess Lakshmi, this India's pedigree, when a woman attains high knowledge and serves the society with selfless devotion, helps the needy etc are some of the qualities,i think there is no age bar for this and it is not title.
eg:Mata amirthanadamai,Mata sarada etc.
