I've been a stripper for 11years. The "thong" is an essential part of my business attire. Believe it or not, it makes a difference in how much money I make.
It's definitely uncomfortable at first. Try a few different styles, cuts, and fabrics to see what works for you. For example, if you are slender, try a lower cut hipster with a wide waistband that narrows into a thong. The style is flattering on a smaller frame. I like cotton over any other fabric because it breathes. Make sure whatever fabric it is, that the thong has a cotton crotch, and try not to wear one for extended periods of time.
If you're frame is a little larger, you may want to opt for a thong with a higher cut, a slimmer waist band, and a narrower T in back. However, I do not recommend "dental floss, " which is a thong that has just a strip of elastic band that goes up your crack. They're sexy for an occasion when you put them on just to have them taken off(if you know what I mean), and that's about it.
Anyway, have fun with wearing them. Get bras that match. Victoria's and Gap Body have some way cute stuff out right now. If you don't want to spend that much money, try your local outlet stores. I've even found adorable sets at the swap meet.
Have fun!!

at first they feel really weird. not painful or anything, just kinda annoying. If you stick with them for a few days they will dissapear. After getting used to thongs, regular underwear feels uncomfortable

Not really if your used to having your underwear constantly develop into a wedgie!
The other thing is that thongs can give rise to thrush. ( Bum flossers) so don't wear them for long periods or too often without ensuring they have a cotton gusset insert

They feel weird at first because your not use to them. They sometimes like ride up and annoy you. Sometimes you even get like a wedgie at first. For me it didn't take a long time to get used to the feeling but for other people it may.
Hope it works well =]
