I got kicked in the ribs a few times...but i don't even think it left a bruise. :)

The worst I've read is about rib fractures & displacements during pregnancy though there haven't been any studies on the subject.
Then again - it's possible to crack a rib from coughing too severely.

I remember reading once about a woman who had a rib broken when their unborn child kicked particularly hard, but I can't remember where I read that so I don't know if its actually true.

I injured my mom. During the 7th month, I ripped the umbilical cord off of where it attaches to her, and then I wrapped it around my neck. She developed hemmoraging and internal bleeding from having the umbilical cord ripped out like that.

Yep- During all 5 of my pregnancies they gave me hemorrhoids and weight gain. But now I am thin and hemorrhoid free so I forgive them. HA HA

I don't think so. Unless they can bite you from the inside LOL, but that's not possible either because they don't have teeth yet!!!
