Did you have to fill out an application in which you may have been asked if you had ever been convicted of a crime? I have been finding more and more places are simply asking if you have a conviction (both Felonies and Misdemeanors) rather than the old style of asking if you had been convicted of a felony. Some have even asked if you have ever been arrested. If so, did you lie about any convictions?

Now the conviction alone could be enough for them to revoke the offer if they feel the conviction is a sign of irresponsibility on your part. Also, the lack of a license may also be enough to revoke the offer (granted the know about it). A lot depends on the company itself and what their values are.

Good luck!

Most companies will not rescind a job offer because of a DUI--only if you have something like theft or assault with no reasonable explanation. I actually had 2 DUI arrests on my record when I got my job offer last year at a bank (arrests show up too, even though I later got one of the DUIs dismissed). A person from HR called to ask about it, but she assured me that it wasn't a problem and that no one in the company would know about it except my manager. She even told me that lots of people have that on their records. I had a friend who went through the same thing with no trouble.

Many marketing jobs require you to travel. If the company is requiring you to use your own vehicle to travel with, and they find out that you don't have a license they will not hire you.
If the company provides you with a vehicle, they most definitely will check your driving record and background.
I guess it just depends what they expect of you as far as driving.
If you are not required to drive, I don't see why it would matter if you have a DUI or not.

bottom line is..don't lie about these things. even if you tried to fib in your favor, in their eyes, you lied..period. end of story..end of job.

however, if u dui - arrested - charged, just say so. either way, they'll find out. and you have a better chance if you told the truth. they ask those questions so they will know whether you're honest or not.

Depends on the DUI status. If it's a felony DUI than it could hold you back.
