Ok, I am a 16 yr old girl and im afraid of bugS! I know thats normal among girls, but i dont want to keep on running away when i see a spider or a cockroach...sadly, im even afraid of ladybugs! SO do any fo you have advice on how to make myself love bugs?

lol - I'm 30 and still afraid of bugs. I'm ok with them in places I would expect them - like camping, but not ok with them anywhere else. I look forward to seeing what some people suggest here cause I've never been able to get past it myself.

Just relax and think they are more afraid of you than you are of them. Although I have boxlike bugs invading my apartment from the woods and they freak me out, so I am trying to practice what I preach. LOL =)

Well, I hate to bug you about this but... maybe you could go to a bug museum type thing, and look at dead bugs.... and get used to them that way.

i hate em too! i agree you just have to tough it out, but i wouldnt do it alone. it sounds stupid but if they really bug you (no pun intended) you can always have support! they might be able to give you better advice!

go camping for a couple weeks. You won't love them, but the ones at home will seem small compared.
