You at lest know what the fish eat be for you buy them. Do a little research first.
You must have a hiding place since the black ghost is nocturnal. My experience is the best food is live blood worms and live black worms. A 26°C temp is required. I would not recommend to beginners.

What kind of pet owner buys an animal he knows nothing about? People like you shouldn't even have pets, since you don't even care enough about the creature to find out what it eats before you buy it.

He may eat a few off the bottom of the tank, but he can't live off of them. Knifefish also eat mostly at night. He'll outgrow your tank as well.
