There are so many things in LA. If you want something for dinner then try Tokyo Delv's in North Hollywood which is a very loud and fun experience. The Saddle Ranch in Hollywood has a mechanical bull that you can watch other people ride or try yourself. A Dinner/Show is a fun experience is nice such as Medival Times in Anaheim where you can watch knight dueling. How about a dinner cruise in Long Beach or San Diego. If you want to get a little more extreme, they do group skydiving discounts. The same can be said for ski/snowboard lessons or a twilight horseback riding session in Hollywood. In Burbank, you can go to the firing line and rent out several lanes to try your hand at firearms. Gondola rides are available in Santa Monica or Long Beach and for something really low key go to the golf range or play a round of minature golf. Have fun and Happy B-DAY!

You should definitely go to the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company located on the Santa Monica Pier. Its a really fun place to eat because everything down to the table settings are set up like the movie Forrest Gump. The waiters are really fun and ask you all kinds of trivia questions about the movie. Also the seafood is absolutely amazing! The popcorn shrimp appetizer is to die for and it is not too expensive. Its a really delicious fun place to eat and would be an excellent choice for a birthday party. I promise you won't be disappointed!

I agree with yellrbird.. go to Universal City Walk and dine at Buca di Beppo's and request the Pope room. The people there are fun and energetic and they can accomadate your large group. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Then afterward you can cruise around city walk, possibly take in some live entertainment, shop or even see a movie or concert.

Have fun. And Happy Birthday!

I'd head down with the crowd to Papadakis in San Pedro. What a fun spot for a family/friends birthday. The waiters will sing and make sure you have a fun time, and the food is good.

For an affordable Italian family style dinner, go to Buca di Beppo. You get a tour of the kitchen, platters of food to share at the table and the atmosphere is fun. There are lots of interesting photo's on their walls too. Request to sit at the round "Pope" table. We went for my mother in laws bday and she loved it.

How about a concert at the Hollywood Bowl? The concerts can be relatively inexpensive, the weather is gorgeous, you can pic-nic before the concert or bring food and wine into the concert.

With that many people, you can even get a group rate.

Get a cake...gather the family and friends around. Then, talk, listen to music...and maybe put together a slide show of pictures growing up.

Also, a cookout would be fun.
