Absolutely, you are wrong. Let someone who knows what they are doing handle it. If you have to ask if it is wrong to keep a fox cub, you don't know what you are doing.

Yes, fox cubs should only be kept in a match box

Unless you know what you're doing (and in some areas, have the proper license) it's probably not a good idea. Depending on its age and condition, it may require special care to survive. I'd recommend contacting a wildlife rehabilitator in your area; or whatever official agency is responsible for managing wildlife.

Yes, you are wrong. I wonder how you got it? How long are you planning to keep it ? What will you do when it gets bigger ? What are you feeding it ?

They are wild animals who should be kept by experts with a view to rehabilitation and eventual release. It will never be a pet - they are programmed to be profoundly afraid of humans (unlike dogs who have been tamed over millenia).

Eww get rid of it, rabies, mange, fleas to mention a few nasties. Contact the local fox hunt, they'll get rid of it for you. Relax people, these creatures are vermin and wouldn't think twice about taking a chunk out of your children. VERMIN!!!
