I sit next to this girl at work and our cubicles/desks are attached. Well when i first started there i didnt want to say anything but now its become a problem. One day my whole desk started shaking and i didnt know what it was until i notcied that this girl couldnt keep still. She shakes her legs, shakes her foot, takes her shoes off, and continues to shake them, and/or her feet....AHHH!...its annoying..i cant work ..how do i get her to stop? I dont want to embarrass her...anybody out there live this nightmare? advice?

ask her to please stop, she might not even realize what she is doing or how often.
if she doesn't stop and you complain to your boss you will look like a whiny punk

Chances are she doesn't realize what she does. Just politely bring it up to her and take it from there. If that doesn't work, then ask your supervisor to move desks.

I thought I was the only one who hated that. If you and this girl are on speaking terms, maybe you can toss it into your convo. in a very playful way. Say it jokingly but make sure to mention that it gets on your last nerve! That way you won't come across as real mean but she won't mistake your meaning either.

I've seen some ads on TV about restless legs syndrome, perhaps she has that? If you're going to talk to her, just do it privately because she's probably embarassed about it.

THAT HAS TO BE ANNOYING! well i've never been in that situation, BUT i think you should talk to her privately about it, it doesnt need to be said out loud or rude, you can even make it a joke KIND OF, just make it clear its annoying and its bothering you. but good luck!

just simply ask her why ur desk is shaking what is she doing i dont think it is rude besides if she is annoying u why shouldnt u ask her to stop just be poliet not rude

I guess the only thing to do is quietly talk to her and tell her u don't like it. I mean, don't shout it out for the whole world to hear . lol Or.....yell it if u have to. Wutever gets her attention.
