European Union. We have more men ( dont say there not as good because every ,military poll outside the small mided american ones put UK, Germany, France above the US. These 3 countries alone have nearly 1 million troops, 3000 aircraft, 200 ships and half the top 10 special forces units including the top 2. SAS and SBS. Also UK would be able to get help from Canada ( good stratigic advantage ) and Australia ( giving us the 3rd best special forces unit ) whixh would give a few hundred thousand more troops.

And it wouldnt be a nuclear war because the EU would wipe the US out just as fast as you could us so what would be the point. A war that would have a winner would be an EU victory.

Isreal has also expressed interest in joining the EU in the future so that gives us the complete top 5 special forces units on earth.

US - More aircraft carriers, more modern equipment and more nukes

EU - Better trained ( a million of them are for certain and if Isreal joined another 600,000 would be aswell ) equipment thats barely any worse than the US if it is actually any better in the US ), Better stratigic positions ( canada ), fed up of US arogence.

The US would not stand a chance against the EU.

Do you know the EU is going to become the most modern military on earth soon as it is buying out all major arms manufatures and military science companies in order to stop US dominence in the field of military science?

In a war, I think the US would ultimately win, though it would be hard fought. The best strategy would be for the US to tell the Italians that the English thought they smelled. Then tell the Germans that the Austria wanted to keep the WWII gold taken from the Jews. Then tell the eastern Block countries that Spain thinks they are uneducated.

That should clear up the need for the US to use its own troops. If that didn't work, then the US would rile up the Muslim populations in each country in Europe and tell them that their time had come. The EU would be overrun in months as they are already populated greatly buy middle eastern peoples.

The EU is too fractured to win a good fight.

At this time, we are friends with EU, so why do you bother to ask? If we were to go to war with them now, we would win. That is entirely beside the point. They are not equipping themselves for war with anyone & we are always ready to go to war with anyone at the drop of the hat. We have been ready for war since W.W.2 & looks like we are never going to not be ready again.

It depends on who starts it. If US, then I think the EU would win, because the US public would not support it. If EU starts it, then US wins because our public supports it, but not theirs.

In purely technical terms (military capability) US wins easy.
