WE ALL SHARE THE COST OF UTILITIES HERE BUT THE MANAGER DOES NOT "OWN" THE UTILITIES. WHAT SHOULD I DO. ALSO I AM DISABLED AND HAVE TO USE A BREATHING DEVICE 4 TIMES A DAY. THANK YOU

Well have you paid your utility bill? If not I would say he has every right to turn them off..If you all share the bill..And you are using the utilities and not paying your share..You should not get to use them any more..Sorry your on disability..I have trouble pitying someone who is pitying themselves..ss
This is America and there is help for those who choose to help themselves..

Do you pay the landlord for the utilities or do you pay directly to the utility company? From the sound of it, you pay directly to the landlord. If that is the case, check with your rental agreement and see what it says about the shutoff of utilities. How late are you on payments and is this the first notice? Contact your local Housing commission to see what notices you are required to receive and the timeframe allowed before utilities can be shut off. While it may not be what you want to hear, but your landlord is trying to run a business, not a charity. They can't afford to give this stuff away for free. Why not just pay them?

He may not "own" them, but if the bill is in his name, and everyone in the park pays a share, then he does "own" the right to cut the supply off to you. He "owns" the bill, of which it is his credit that gets dinged for your inability to pay. He is acting as the liaison between the utilities and you...if you had the utilities in your name and didn't pay, they would turn you off.
I understand about your disability, and I'm not trying to be harsh, just honest.

Legally the utility company cannot shut off your power if there are medical devices relying on that electricity.

Have you paid your portion of the park utilities???

search landlord & tenant laws, along with your state, online. You will find legal documentation that will help you out - I just had to do the same thing about a week ago with my apartments.
Sorry to be rude but, using a breathing device has nothing to do with your question.

Call the utility co. They won't allow it.

Contact www.hud.gov the fair housing division in your state.
