You need to understand that a republican relies on a protectionist in times of fear and will stand by the absolute power regardless and attack anyone that approaches with evidence.

What I see - on both sides - is an attitude of 'My Party, right or wrong'. There appears to be very little independent thought and lots of blind support. But mostly, I see a country divided by hatred within itself...something that is far more dangerous than the threat from any enemy abroad.

I'm not republican or democrat, liberal or conservative. I'm a moderate independent. I see you ALL as crazy for just accepting a blanket set of ideals to follow.

Nope, it's just you. How can I be in denial when Bush is doing exactly what I voted him into office for? And that is to fight terrorism and win this war. I'm satisfied that he hasn't let down on this conflict. It would be a damn shame to withdraw and go against everything this country is supposed to stand for. Bravo to Bush and I could care less who gives me a thumbs down.

Not all of them. Some can separate their personal philosophy from the actions of this regime. I think the next breed of republican will be plenty distant from the Bush camp.
