there's no question about it, it's happening. weather patterns are changing there are more extreme storms, the ice is melting everywhere, the ocean level is rising and its temperature is as well. Do I believe humans are causing it? Of course they are, you'd have to be in denial to think they're not. If primitive algae capable of photosynthesis was able to oxygenize our atmosphere and create the basis for modern oxygen-breathing life forms, human industry and transportation is undoubtedly able to change our atmosphere, our ozone, and as a result, our global climate. Even Bush admits it now. How can people still be questioning whether or not there's a problem when we need to figure out what to do about it?

oh, political affiliation... I'm what you'd call a liberal I guess, and I'm not really satisfied with the democratic or republican parties but I'm voting democratic until the green party or a party which opposes overt corporate control over the electoral process organizes an electoral coup.

VHB global warming causes more severe and unusual weather patterns, so if you're seeing extreme changes, hot or cold, in climate, it's because of global warming.

That's a little vague. I believe the earth has cycles of warming and cooling so if that's the question then Yes. I am a conservative but do not call myself a Republican (and haven't for about 15 years). If you're asking if humans cause global warming, then the answer is no.

I believe global warming is a fact. People who don't accept the reality of global warming are basically burying their heads in the sand at this stage.
I'm European & therefore am neither a member of the Republicans or Democrats. I suppose I would call myself a conservative democrat who thinks for himself.

OK call me crazy if you want but this is what I am seeing and what I think is happening. The earth as it rotates slightly tilts too. I think that depending on the tilt of the Earth that it dictates where the cold will be. I have lived in both hot and cold climates. The places that I lived that were extremely hot this winter have been extremely cold. SO there are places that are hotter than they usually are and there are others that are colder than they usually are. If it was global warming then everywhere would be warmer than they usually are so to answer your question. I do not believe in global warming. I cannot vote because I am not a US citizen so I am neither.

What type of global warming are you talking about? I believe the earth goes through periodic stages of warming and cooling but that it is not a result of human activity. I'm a disgruntled Republican.

I believe in facts, and REAL studies, so no. I am not brainwashed by Al Gore to believe in global warming. And I am a Republican.

I believe the Earth cools and warms in cycles. I don't believe that humans caused "global warming"

The biggest problem I have with it is that the earth regularly goes through heating and cooling cycles. Look it up, we know from scientific evidence that the earth has ice ages and hot ages. Now we have been keeping tempurature records for 120 years and recently there has been a spike in temperatures in the area of fractions of degrees. We are now supposed to believe that this is a result of "greenhouse gasses"?
