What features would you like the most in a community site and why?

First, it has to be well moderated-I've been turned off of sites because there were too many flamers and too many people not following the rules.
Second, it should have distinct categories of discussion-say, for a reader's site, "New Releases," "Classics," "Reviews," etc. I'd rather not have to scroll through a lot of random stuff to get to my favorites. A well-organized site is likely to get more visitors.

A moderator.
And the ability to freeze out abusive people.
