ummm.. if i understand what you are talking about as far as a fod bank. When I was younger my mom went to a place called "focus hope". This palce we got free food cause she had 10 kids and we were poor.

We had a tornado go through the area I lived in and the electricity had been off for 24 hours. So all our food went bad we were broke and we needed to eat.

Yeah I lost my job and had no money . I called and they brought my boxes of food that lasted 2 weeks . And when I was first married we had no money and I called then too . That was 1984 though !

Because my husband couldn't seem to hold a job that paid enough to buy food and his medicine with; and my job didn't cover the house, the bills, both cars (he HAD to have a new one!) and the groceries, too.

yes. My ex and his skanky crank ho girlfriend (now wife) broke into my apartment while I was at an AA meeting and stole all my money and food. PS We have a kid. He didn't even care if she went hungry. What a dickwad.
