You might have some ad-ware, viruses, or trojan downloaders
at work. Run your virus program or if you don't have one,
AVG is a pretty good free one. Also run a disk clean-up
and de-frag it. Clear out your cookies and history from your
control panel/internet options from time to time.

Did you use Windows' Disk Cleanup? If you have a small hard drive, temporary Internet files can accumulate and shrink the amount of free space. To see how many temporary files you have, run Windows' Disk Cleanup by going to Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup > check any files you want to delete. Afterwards, defrag your hard drive by using Windows Disk Defragmenter.

u may have used net a lot try deleting ur temporary files and clean compress old files by goin in to the drive properties and cliclk on disk clean up avalible at general tab.
