Hi please can someone give me some names of products like foundations, facial washes, misturisers etc for the face which is sensitive and occasionally spotty.
These are the makes i cannot use, simple as there is something in that that brings out spots and makes them worse, Any foundation like max factor, number7 rimmel and maybelline and any cheap version in foundation. Cant uses clean and clear sensitive or not as it burns my skin. Same as clearasil, Can use Clinique moisturiser as this makes me break out as well, So does nivea and olay.
So if you can think of any thing that i might be able to use or that you recommend please let me know as i have given up. I have spent a fortune this year and i still hav ent found anything that suits my skin. Thanks

ok, i haven't read the answers before mine, but seriously take a look at all the info i've written below. i've suffered from persistent acne for YEARS, and have recently cleared it up. i've talked to a lot of people with similar problems, gathered products from various lines, and done a ton of research. lol... this is like the 3rd time i've pasted this, but it sounds like you have similar skin to mine, and that you've been through a similar struggle.

i swear by all these products. my face is absolutely glowing right now, and it's due to my skincare regimen over the last 3 months. i've tried everything out there for my problem skin. expensive and cheap (price doesn't seem to matter). i'm actually pretty shocked (i'm 28, and it hasn't looked this great since i was like 13, lol). i hate to sound like an infomercial, but (when used all together) this stuff is amazing enough to rave about it. so here goes...

CLEANSER:
Canus (FRAGRANCE FREE VERSION!) Goat's Milk Soap, twice per day

MOISTURIZERS
two fabulous moisturizers which i'll be loyal to for life:
Complex 15 lotion (this and the Canus soap are responsible for my clear skin)
Jojoba oil (it really does work; there are sooo many reviews for this stuff online by people who agree)

USE NO "ACNE PRODUCTS"! DON'T USE ANYTHING WITH A HIGH ALCOHOL CONTENT, B/C IT WILL DRY OUT YOUR SKIN AND WORSEN ACNE. NO BENZOYL PEROXIDE.

LIPS
i've just found my new absolute favorite balm:
http://www.getjackblack.com/jb/catalog.n...
this stuff is AMAZING. absolutely every ingredient in it is natural, except the SPF stuff... AND it feels phenomenal on your lips. soothing, smooth, minty, fresh, hydrating. and with SPF 25, what's not to love!
for night, i stick with Burt's Bees Original lip balm. no need for SPF while i'm asleep. =)

MAKEUP:

last but not least, i am loving a mineral makeup available at www.aubreynicole.com. amazing coverage, natural looking, and AFFORDABLE! :D only $6.50 for a small sample kit (doesn't come with brushes, so this is assuming you already have brushes). http://www.aubreynicole.com/store/home.php?cat=285

if i remember correctly my foundation contains only 4 ingredients. (and the less you put on your face, the better.)

be wary of Bare Minerals, which contains bismuth oxychloride and is a bad idea for sensitive skin. it can (and often does) cause breakouts, oily skin, and/or itching. (broke me out terribly, and a lot of girls i know.)

i wish you the best of luck...
if you do try any of this stuff, please let me know how it goes! =)

I had breakouts all around my chin area. I only use Ivory bar soap to clean my face, which dries up the pimples and is very pure. I then only use Clinique Foundation available at any large department store like Sears or Macy's. As a moisturizer I use a vitamin E cream for sensitive skin every other day. I have extremely sensitive skin and have found this to be the best regimen for me. I have been using these products for about 9 months and my skin looks the best it has in years.
If you smoke or drink you must quit, it is draining your skin and making it worse. Believe me, I stopped, best thing I could have done. Good Luck!

Foundations: If you absolutely have to wear foundation then try Physician's Formula. Anything from this line won't be hard on your skin.

Washes/Moisturizers: If you haven't already, then go to the babies section and look at their washes. They don't have tons of irritants in their ingredients obviously so that should work. And the Eucerin cream works on easily irritated skin. It's a bit thick so I don't know if you're looking for something a little less heavy but if you use it sparingly you should have no problem.

I am in UK. I dont know if it still readily on sale, but Almay was a brand for sensitive and allergic skin and used to be on sale in department stores a few years ago. I am sure these products are still around. Go to a big dept store and they may be able to help you (you can patch test before buying or look for stockists on the website). It is not too pricey if I remember

There is quite a bit for sale on ebay

If you are located in the USA then you can send me your mailing address : info@fizzents.com

I will send you a sample of Mila d'Opiz Hydro Sensitive Day Cream to try - I do not have samples of the Face Wash or Toner, but this line is incredible and it's worth trying.

There is a chance you may also be allergic, so I will also send you a sample of the Mila d'Opiz Azulene Night Cream to try so you can see if it helps.

I will send you instructions on how to test the products in your package.

This may sound odd to you but it really works. Go and buy an aloe plant. It not only moisturizes but heals blemishes. I can't use a lot of the marketed products either. maybe something natural will help your troubles. They also sell an aloe gel however, it often contains alcohol. This would just add to your dryness. Good luck!

The best make-up for people with sensitve skin is Physicians Formula. Maybe you should try proactive for your sensive skin even though you might not have a broke out face. I know quite a few people that use proactive just because nothing else works for them.

seek proper advice from an expert, what is good for one persons skin may not be for yours. most women don't need all these products on thier face anyway, try a week of not using any. you may find your beautiful without them.
My wife uses a foundation from estee lauder, not sure which one though.
