ppl say that during the 6 week period or even right after you can get preg really easy during that time. is that true or not? has anyone got preg during the six week period after having a baby? or even right after the 6 weeks was up? is it dangerous to be preg right after or during the 6 week period?

It is true...and it is true that the more deliveries you have the easier it is to get pregnant. Reason being that your cervix pre-birth is closed tightly and like a round dimple, post-birth (and forever and ever) the cervix is fish-eyed shape and not as closed, especially weeks following delivery. Thus, sperm can enter the cervix a lot easier! (My ob/gyn explained this to me.)
I do not know if it dangerous to become pregnant so soon after delivery...seems like it could be somewhat.

6 weeks after your delivey is still considered the post-partum period. It is not advisable to have sex at this time because you should give time for your body to heal and also to decrease your risk of infection. Besides, you probably won't feel very horny at this time. For your own health, it is so NOT advisable for you to get pregnant right after you've given birth. You should give your body some time to recuperate. It's financially, physically, and emotionally draining to have 2 children in quick succession. There is such a thing as the Lactational Amenorrhea Method of birth control. This method is 98% effective but you have to breastfeed from the very start, breastfeed exclusively (or almost), and breastfeed frequently/regularly.

Your body has a million hormones going wild after giving birth. So yea it is very easy to become pregnant any time after having a baby. I haven't gotten pregnant again since I had my son, but I have heard it is true and a friend of mine had this happen to her. They say to wait at least 18 months but no longer than 5 years to have another child. Your body takes one year to recover from a vaginal delivery and even longer after having a c-section.

yes you can get pregnant very easy and yes it is dangerous i guess it just depends on your body wether the danger is life threating,i had a friend and we both had babies young she had one in feb i had one in march she had her next one in june i had mine in aug she had c-section and so did i the she was pregnat again 3rd and i was too 3rd well she died having hers and i had a miscarriage at 4 months it just depends

i dont know why it is true, but it is very true, i was told that in the maternity hospital by the nurses over and over
