I haven't talked to one of my best friends for almost a month because of the way she treats me. She doesn't appreciate anything I do/buy for her(dinner, movies). She also treats me differently (like crap) when other people are around. People tell me I should talk to her but I don't want to ruin it for ever or end up looking like the fool...

It depends. Do you miss her? If so, then you need to try to bring back the friendship, and talking to her would be the place to start.

But, are you okay with not having her in your life, like you have for the past month? If you're fine with this, then just continue what you're doing. You don't have to "break up" a friendship; just let it fade.

for one, it sounds like shes being two-faced (acting all nice to you when theres no one else around and then when your not around she talks bad about you behind your back) and i dont think she deserves a label as a best friend i think she deserves a label that says "b*tch" and if you have other friends, hang with them!

you don't 'buy' a friend. period.
what you are describing is an addiction, not love. its like you are saying [to an uncaring person] beat me, beat me.
if you're going to say anything, I suggest 'goodbye'. if they don't care to find out why, then it simply doesn't matter. find a real friend.
