Go to the court house and file with the register of deeds or the clerks office in the court house.

Dunno what state you are in, but in State of Washington go to the district court clerk, get the petition (free) fill it out, file it and you are immediately under the protective order. If children are involved you must go to the Superior Court clerk. within a day your "other half" is served and you both appear in court within 2 weeks and present your problems to the judge... no attorneys are required. You can also go to abuse advocate groups (list at the clerks office) and they will help you fill out the petition.

Go to the police station fill out the paper work.You can put lies and innuendos,you can screw anyone you want to over with these papers.
I know from personal experience,keystone cops and a 450 lb. slimy judge getting sexual favors to railroad me.
