8 titles in 14 seasons speaks for itself.the only thing chelski have going for them is a big fat wallett that buys their players.do you even need to ask this question,everyone knows manchester united are the best team

Looking at the players list Chelsea is the best hands down. Can't argue with that. But if you look at it as a whole. man U is the best team right now. The record speak for itself. In the last 2 season Chelsea is the runaway leader. This season is the first time their playing catch up and that could have a huge impact on how mourinho handle things.
On the other hand, Man U record after Boxing Day is usually pretty good (eventhough after the lost to Arsenal). Ferguson been here before, knows what he needs to do and therefore I think he will get the job done and bring the title back to Old Trafford.

Player for player, Man Utd is on par with mid table teams like Totenham. Chelsea's reserve team is better than any team in the league with the exception of Arsenal.
Chelsea should catch up and win the league for the 3rd time in a row cause' they just have too much depth compared to Man Utd.

Man U, for one simple reason: team chemistry. They have it, and Chelsea do not. Rooney and Ronaldo could have had a huge falling out after the World Cup incident, but they've managed to patch things up enough to play well for United. Meanwhile, all you hear about is troubles inside the Chelsea locker room. Chelsea's big problem now is a surging Liverpool challenging them for second.

Once Chelsea's little injury spell is over, then I expect them to retain the title, albeit it won't be as straightforward for them as it was last season. United are much improved this year but we have yet to see the best from Chelsea this season and pound for pound, Chelsea have more strength in depth and in general, better players who will be eager to prove their worth.
