I have taken 4 pregnancy tests since since my husband and I had intercourse. They have all been negative. We really want to be pregnant and I expect my period in 5 days. I thought that the early pregnancy tests would indicate a positive result by now. I have very sore breasts, short attention span, slight cramps, could I be pregnant and just have too low of hcG? The waiting is definitely difficult!

Don't jump to any conclusions! I know from experience. There are too many things that mess up the female body to be able to tell. And, the worst of it - signs of pregnancy are often the same signs as getting ready to start your period. And, I learned from experience, if you're stressed out/worried/anxious about being pregnant - it could delay you starting your period.

You sure coudl be pregnant. The tests that tell you test 5 days earlier say in the small print the chances of getting a pos result at 5 days or what ever is 65% or what ever. so keep an open mind and be happy. If your not God has a reason and theres always next month! Good Luck!

I say you took the tests way too early. Wait and see if your period is late, then take another test. It's definately possible, but the signs you are having are also signs of your period coming. I know it's really hard to wait that long...I used to take a test every month before my period was late. Good Luck, and I hope you are pregnant!!

Well if you are pregnant you have a lot more waiting to do! Wait till after you missed period. 4 tests and your period isn't due for 5 more days?! Calm down girl. Getting all worked up could delay your period if you aren't pregnant. Best of luck!

Those can both be pregnancy symptoms as well as oncoming period symptoms. You could be pregnant though. Sometimes home tests just don't work for some people, I would suggest going to doctor for sure results. Good Luck!

Well I hope that you are too. Children are such a blessing and I hope you're able to conceive soon, if you're not this time just keep trying. But it might be a bit too early to tell as some people get the same symptoms you're describing even when getting their periods.
I wish the 2 of you the best of luck.

I know it's hard when you want to be pregnant so bad and your not, but your negative tests are probably right. Try being more spontaneous with your husband, Have sex twice and three times a day all month long and try not think about being pregnant so much, just enjoy the great sex, make it fun not just having sex to get pregnant. I know so many people that say I know this is the day we got pregnant cause we only had sex once this month, this is crazy!!! Sex is supposed to be for yours and his enjoyment, not just to make babies. Be patient you'll get that baby, just enjoy your husband for now. Good luck.

As far as I know, the earliest at-home tests can detect HCG as early as the first day of your missed period - you very well could be pregnant but should take another test in 6 days or so.

I have had those symptoms hoping I wouldn't be pregnant. I know it is so difficult to wait until you can truly find out. I have been told that it is possible to feel symptoms early, but not very likely. Just wait it out and treat your body as if you are pregnant. No drinking, smoking, stress, etc.
