yes, but after deleting them, right click the recycle bin, then empty. That will. Deleting any file will free up disk space.

Yes anything that is on your computer takes up space on your Disk Space no matter what it is but a text file really doesn't effect the space on your Disk but a lot of mp3's deleted it could help a lot i have over a 1gb of mp3s on my computer and if i delete it my computer would probably run a little better not to where i could really tell but i know its not taking forever to load 1 gb of music saved on my hard drive and more space i would have to install something else or download haha..

deleting mp3 files, specifically will free up more space than any other music file. mp3 are basically the best music file, much better than .wav, .wma, and so forth. as a result, mp3 files are much larger than the rest. but you give up music quality if you have the same song with different extensions. so depending on what's more important to you (more music with less clarity, or less music but much better quality), making the determination will either free up or fill up your computer, music player, whatever

Of course. Every file on your computer takes up disk space, no matter what file type.

Yes. Only about 3MB at a time though. If you have movies stored on your computer, one of those is usually 300MB-1.4GB. Delete movies if you want to free a lot of space.
Movie file formats: .mpeg, .mov, .avi, .wmv
Also clear out your temporary internet files. You can do this by opening internet explorer and go to Tools > Internet Options
Delete Cookies
Delete FIles...

Yes. Actually Music takes up much space on your computer. Almost as much as movies. Also if you have BMP files you can convert them to JPEG for even more space.
