wireless ones are great however the main problem i used to face is when you start listerning to music there is a loud and very annoying buzzing sound from the speakers. so i have now gone back to cable. with cable there is no buzzing from the speakers and there so much cheaper have no batteries and will always work. if you do get a new keyboard i would surgest a multimedia one (the one with lots of buttons on the top of it) as the shortcuts are great once you get used to them.

I have Microsoft Wireless. They are nice but they eat batteries. I change batteries about ever 6 months. They get up to a range of 6 ft. with no ugly cords!
