All of the brands are about the same. The CD R is best to use to record stuff like music or copy small amounts of data.

Haha brand doesn't make a whopping difference if you ask me!
Write once only: cd-r
Re-writeable: cd-rw (Caution - will not work in many music cd players)

dosent rely matter but i use sony as they are easy to write on the top of. other cdr/cdrw's have a very shiny surface and cause glare when trying to write on them. but i spose a sticker would do a just just as good job.
