I have sorted what to say and how to present it but now im stuck on ways of getting the rest of the group involved? its a group of 5-6 adults who are all doing the same presentation so cant ask what they would put into a time capsule!

You could ask them why they think you put your items in before you give them your reasons but five minutes is not long so why do you want to involve them if they are going to do the same thing? Try to make your reasons seem logical and interesting

When is it to be opened? Things important to our time....ask group members to identify main areas of interest in the past - transport, music, fashion, childcare, food preparation - whatever, then get each group member to select something from their area of interest to include in the time capsule. Does this help?

Tell em you are going to include a list of contributors in the capsule which will be easy as there is only one.

Maybe you could ask them what the items you list might tell a person in the future? What would they think if they found them in X many years time?
