If you have a usb wire that can plug into both the palm pilot and you have usb ports on your computer then you should be able to do that with no problem.

Yes. The easiest way to do this is to write the data into the Palm Desktop program that comes with the Palm. The next time you sync the Palm with Palm Desktop, the data will go to the Palm as well.

There are other ways to do it as well. There are conduits that allow the Palm to talk to other programs on the PC besides Palm Desktop. For example, there are several companies that make programs to allow viewing Microsoft Word documents on the Palm. (Check www.dataviz.com for one.)

I heard they support .TXT and .PDF files
so easiest is .TXT
open .txt file write stuff in and save it then copy it there.
