Since they are teens, they are reallly interested in fashion. They like expensive clothing stores such as Hollister, abercrombie, and all those "teen" stores. I don't want to hurt the girls feelings by telling them it's too expensive. What stores are cheaper and have things like Hollister and Abercrombie? (They are all skinny and petite).

Well congrats for raising 3 girls...I can't imagine!

Try going to Plato's Closet. It's a teen consignment shop. It's great! It ONLY carries teen brand name clothing. It's very, very cheap. What you can usually get at the mall you can get times 3 at Plato's Closet. If there isn't one near you ask around and see if there are any other teen consignment shops around.

I would recommend DISCOUNTS & SALES...

Go shopping from time to time, during discounts and during normal seasons with no sales...

Do not only shop in such places, a smart shopper should know how to find fashionable items in not-very-known shops which you can use on a normal base, and yet be able to buy a few pieces from the fancy shops.

I buy shirts from places you wouldn't even enter if you stare at the show-case well, and oh they look lovely... and people like 'em. That way I can really spend from time to time on outfits from expensive shops.

I wish I could guide you to the shops I mean, but I live quite far from ya ;)

Tip, Specify a fit allowance for each girl, for all their expenses for the whole month.

Give part of it to them (a small part) and you manage the rest... when they grow a bit older, they can manage their whole allowance.

Also, let them help you out around the house with chores, or let them do some work that suits their age... by which they can gain extra money.

I would say try Aeropostale, American Eagle, or Platos Closet. American Eagle is just like Hollister and Abercrombie. It is expensive but there is always sales going on and great discounts. Aeropostale is also a good choice. They always have sales and the prices of the clothes are reasonable. Platos Closet has all brand name clothes like Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle, etc. The clothes there are always cheap also. I hope i helped =]]

well you don't want them to wear cheap material either so don't go to ae or aero. stores with really cheap material are wet seal, forever 21, charlotte russe, etc, all their clothes rip easily and are sooooo thin.
i would really recommend loehmann's , it's all designer clothings but jeans are only like $20-$30 and tops can be $20. may be hard to find sizes but if you go to a large loehmann's then they will have a lot of wonderful and cute clothes.
but still you should treat them to abercrombie or hollister once in a while, their clothes are super gorgeous, and the material is pretty good. also the clearences in those two stores are cheap, shirts are like $10-$15 jeans $30, and etc. etc.
hope this helped! good luck

Well tell them vintage is in and go to vintage stores or
plato's closet is a store that resell designer clothes
But the best bet it Marshall's, TJ Maxx or Gabriel Brothers, even Value City
The bad part is that you have to have time to really look for good finds
Also try to go to major department stores in general
I like DKNY and Ralph Lauren and they are always on sale at Macy's and Dillard's (Hechts/Kaufmann's depending on your location)

you need to tell your girls that you simply cannot afford the trendy stores all the time. there are plenty of good finds at discounters like target and even the local goodwill. you can offer to get them all one top and one bottom from the stores they really want to and compromise on the rest. if they want more, then they must be willing to help, like babysit, walk pets. recycle. you will not be doing them any favors by going bankrupt so they can look trendy.

American Eagle is expensive kind of, but at the same time they have a lot of great sales. Or you can try Aeropostale; the clothes are cute there.
