Why do we even have Credit Cards?

Well most of the time when I swipe some ones card throught the machine it usually declines and the person takes all the time in the world to scrounge up some cash why do they even bring the card if they should know that it has no money on it I dunno I think the people in my town are so broke they try to make themselves look rich by having a credit card even thought there is no money on it.

I learned that the majority of people usually don't have cash at the time they want to make a purchase so they use their credit card trying to compensate for cash and they usually don't know their limit until the card is rejected.

Often times, people confuse having a $10,000 credit limit as having $10,000. Obviously the opposite is true. People often times spend waaaay more than they can afford and don't pay their credit card bill.

When they eat at your restaurant they are hoping that that credit card company hasn't caught on to them yet or they are in denial (i.e. they received a letting saying their card would be deactivated, but they didn't open it out of the fear of bad news).

Why do you asks so many negative questions. Just let it go. Sometimes creditcard has the magnet demagnetized in the wallet; that may explain why the card doesn't work.

I don't think that it makes them look rich, It shows that they don't have a penny to their name and it also shows by not having none on the card that's why it declined their purchase that's all.
