I think VIVA is THE best with Bounty in second place. They are expensive, but worth it since we use far less to get the same job done.

I use the cheap stuff. I use paper towels for everything, so I hate to buy the expensive stuff when I can go through a whole roll in less than a week. It's so much easier to use to wipe down the bathroom every day and other little chores I do to keep the place **** and span.

For cleaning, I like plain Brawny (no designs.) They're just as good as Bounty (IMO) but cheaper.
In the kitchen, hanging up, I like decorative towels and will buy whatever design I like. Usually Bounty. Viva has nice designs and their towels are so soft *but* the last towel never comes off the roller. Plus, IMO, they aren't as absorbant as Bounty or Brawny.

Paper towela are a big deal at my house! Try bounty with select a size. They are super tough and you don't have to waste a whole piece for a small job.

bounty is the best but being on a fixed income i have found sparkle to do a really good job
