Led Zeppelin album covers are always great.
Earth, Wind and Fire has more tradtional cover art.
Parliament Funkadelic has some OUTRAGEOUS album art.
Elton Johns old 70s stuff is pretty cool and quirky.

I always liked Meatloaf and Iron Maiden covers. A lot of metal bands in the eighties had some wicked covers. Check out some of the "Death"metal bands, Sabbath, Helloween, megadeth...
