Check out the eBay Sellers Forum on the eBay homepage. It will give you a myriad of help, tips, and hints on how to get started.

The most important thing you can do is register and start transacting business (both buying and selling) on eBay. eBay uses their feedback system to establish a users trustworthiness. Every transaction is eligible for either a positive, negative, or neutral rating.

These ratings are by the buyer/seller and are very important to establishing credibility (especially as a seller). If you're a new user with no feedback and are trying to sell an expensive item chances are you're not going to do well. Sellers with little or no feedback struggle because more often than not a buyer views them as a potential scammer.

Be patient. Take some time to build your feedback and start slowly. Selling on eBay takes time and a commitment to customer service. I recommend selling a couple of items at first so you get the feel of things before jumping in whole hog.

Also, I also recommend opening a PayPal account as it will help speed transactions greatly (it also allows you to accept credit cards). Good luck.

I love it!

Go to ebay.com and register.
It is a second income for me.
I get all of my deals from http://www.dealchatter.com , which already shows me the good deals to buy and sell.
